When you love to spend days out in the wilderness, there are a lot of items that are needed to ensure your safety and survival. Most, if not all, of that equipment goes in or on one thing… your backpack. This means that you need a good-sized backpack that is easy to carry, comfortable to wear, and organized to keep everything within reach.

There are a lot of options when it comes to these criteria, so it may seem hard to determine which one is perfect for you and your needs. Among the plethora of choices, you may run into the Condor 3-Day Assault Pack. In order to help you out, we have decided to take an in-depth look at this model, and we will discuss what it brings to the table.

Condor 3 Day Assault Pack

Black tactical backpack

This Condor pack is capable of holding up to 50 liters of items and is crafted with multiple compartments of various sizes for organization purposes. The pack itself is crafted with high-quality nylon (1000D), which gives it water resistance and durability.

This bag’s design features are not to be overlooked, either. The designers have included compatibility with MOLLE systems, along with hydration compartments. As for aesthetics, it is a sleek-looking bag that comes in five different colors, including two different camos.

Who is This Backpack for?

This bag is a good choice for anyone who loves the outdoors, but there are those who might get more out of it. The size of the bag and the design make it perfect for both hunters, campers, and long-term backpackers. The large capacity and superior organization help these individuals keep their items straight and easy to reach.

What’s Included?

When you purchase this product, you get the following items in the box:

  • Condor 3-Day Assault Pack
Interior of green tactical backpack

Overview of Features

  • 7 x pocket designs
  • Storage capacity – 3038 cubic inches
  • Built-in hydration system pocket (2-3L)
  • Crafted in high-density 1000D nylon
  • Capacity – 50L
  • Body contour shoulder straps
  • Dimensions – 22” x 17” x 11”
  • Weight – 6 lbs.

There is a lot to love about this model from Condor, and it all starts with the materials and design. It is crafted with high-density nylon, as we have said. However, that is not where the quality ends. The bag is sewn together using reinforced stitching to make the durability even better.

The design then comes into play to finish off the reasons why we think this model is a good investment. Crafted with several pockets, you will be able to organize everything. Along with that, the designers added plenty of adjustability. This will optimize the comfort level for every individual.

Of course, just because we think it is a good investment doesn’t mean that the bag’s design doesn’t have any flaws. On the contrary, there are a few that we feel we should discuss. The first is the zippers. Though they are sturdy, they are also awkward and can be hard to operate on occasion.

The next issue is the side pockets. They are a nice addition, but many feel that they are a bit flimsy. Lastly, the hip belt is a little short, which makes it uncomfortable to use if you carry weight in your midsection.

Alternative

Though the Condor model we have been looking at is amazing, it does have a few issues that could cause some to reconsider it as an option. Not only is it heavier than some would like, but it also costs just under $100. If this doesn’t fit what you are looking for, you will want a good quality alternative, so we have found one for you.

Tacticon 24 BattlePack

This backpack comes in at half the price of the Condor model we have been looking at. If you are on a tight budget and still want a high-quality tactical backpack, then the Tacticon 24 BattlePack is a solid option.

Not only is it cheaper, but it is also lighter, which may be a good thing when trekking for days at a time. On top of these two factors, you get a bag that is durable, easy to keep organized, and comfortable to wear.

Final Thoughts

Deciding whether or not this backpack is right for you is all up to your preference and needs. However, the Condor 3-Day Assault Pack, though it does have some faults, is one of the best options available today.
